See, I have a prosaic view on life; I don't worry about things that are out of my control. It was originally one of the "no stress" tips I picked up in high school. (Junior year, what's with full course load at high school, half-time load at the local community collage, working a total of 25 hours a week, and juggling the couple of clubs for which I was an officer.) Few people manage to successfully incorporate new life philosophies, but I seem to have managed well thus far.

The Attraction of Mind Control
Like any child brought up in a conscientious and scientist family, I was always taught to think for myself, to consider all the facts and draw my own conclusions, and to question dubious and unqualified authority. Yet, I have apparently developed a fetish for mind control, an anathema of all that I was taught. Why is this? I have wondered that myself, and here is the conclusion I have come to:
Grammar Nazi! (and other complaints)
Here's another obligatory post: grammar and people's posts in general.
I'm not usually such a big grammar Nazi. If you have a typo in a chat or a forum post, I don't really care unless you are completely unintelligible. In that case, I would respond with a universal "?". However, when you're posting something such as a blog post or your own profile--something that people will look at as representative of you--please pay some attention. (And use spellcheck. Something like "Hi nice to meet you yes i can be domanet or submissvae" is just impossible to read. [And yes, that was a direct quote.])
